A meeting date has been set to discuss the lake issues. Wednesday, Nov. 14th, 6:30PM, at the firehouse. The meeting has been set by Connie Kepert's office. We are trying to have Kate Browning, Marc Alessi, Pete Scully, Pat Eddington, Ken LaValle, and any other Politician that wants to be there. This is "THE" meeting on the lake, and I believe much information will be discussed. This is the time to ask questions, to show support, and find out what has been going on to clean up the lakes.
This will also be the regular civic meeting. I just spoke to Fran Hurley, and since there were no speakers scheduled for their regular meeting, it was easy to have the meeting on that night.
Please forward this information on to everyone you know in the community. The politicians need to see large numbers and be reassured that we are all interested in one thing: The "LAKES" restored to their once natural beauty.
If anyone is available to help distribute flyers, please contact the civic association, or me. 872-7086

***** Correction on the Nov. 1st deadline from last posting- This was a misunderstanding on my part. There is no deadline. Glenn Sullivan had suggested that the plant survey be done by that time, because the weeds die down by then and it would be very difficult to do afterwards. The pemits although SHOULD be filed ASAP as that gives the DEC ample time to review them. Several things, such as the plant survey, are part of the permiting proccess.
