Lake Meeting

The next Lake meeting is on Wenesday, the 13th of Feb. This is again a working group meeting that is open to the public, but NOT necessarily open to public comment; until the public portion is opened by the chairwoman. I may not have done a good enough job of describing the format of these meetings in my last posting: It is now a 20 person (seat) group that has been formed to figure a solution to the invasive weed problem.
LAKE UPDATE! PLEASE READ!
Connie Kepert, our Town Councilwoman, has assembled a group of 20 people, and/or groups to address the invasive weed problem that we have in the lakes. It consists of a 20 seat panel of community residents, environmental groups, and various political offices. Specifically:
Lower Lake Dam and Mill
People have been enjoying the Yaphank Lakes for over 250 years. Please help to save our lakes for those enjoy them today and for future generations of people.
